Violetta Rand: A few of my favorite things…

posted in: Uncategorized | 12
Not Julie’s version, but it made me smile.
What are a few of your favorite things?
books
Books with crisp pages and fragrant tea
Bright diamond rings and warm flannel sheets
Brown paper envelopes with contracts from New York
Definitely a few of my favorite things
 Horse
Nicely tanned cover models with muscles to spare
Tartans and axes and dark hair
Wild men that fly on their steeds with the wind at their backs
Definitely a few of my favorite things
 Regency
Clever women in silk, with weapons hidden underneath
Mountains and fjords, rivers and woods, the full moon and bonfires
Deep cold winter that never ends
Definitely a few of my favorite things
 authors
And when the sword bites, when the axe swings
When I’m feeling lost in my book
I remember my favorite authors and the worlds they create
And then I don’t feel so bad

We share a lot of favorite things, which comes as no surprise to me at all. One thing that’s not on your list but which is definitely on mine is your novels.
