Sarah Ballance: Embracing 2015

TMA_500-2Ah, sweet 2014. It is with fond remembrance that I bid you farewell. I had a lot of exciting things happen in my writing life in the past year. My Sins of Salem series continued with the April publication of AN UNEXPECTED SIN and concluded with the October publication of THE SINS OF A FEW, both of which joined Entangled Publishing’s Scandalous line of historical romance. I also debuted with Samhain Publishing with FORSAKEN, a romantic suspense that released in September. But 2014’s biggest moment, writing-wise, was indisputably the release of THE MARRIAGE AGENDA, a contemporary romance that released from Entangled Indulgence on my late grandfather’s birthday in August. It absolutely changed my life.

It also changed the course of 2015.

While THE MARRIAGE AGENDA is the only one of my current releases that falls into the contemporary romance category, that will change this year. ONE NIGHT WITH THE BILLIONAIRE will join Entangled’s Indulgence imprint in the fall. It, too, is a contemporary romance, as is one more project in the works, also with Entangled. I’m waiting for the contract to dish, but suffice to say I’m very excited to be a part of two amazing series projects with a group of phenomenal authors. Once those books are turned in, I’m going to begin work on a new series I absolutely adore. It’s hard when there are so many ideas you want to write and just not enough time to write them, but as an author I don’t think there’s a better problem to have. ๐Ÿ™‚

On a more personal note, this year will bring a lot of changes. My husband and I have an 8,000 mile road trip planned this summer with the kids, and when we return we hope to break ground on our long awaited custom built house. The eight of us have had to share a single bathroom for far too long, LOL, but it’s been worth it as we’ve saved for our dream home. This year, that dream will start to become a reality and, writer or not, I simply cannot put into words how exciting that is. (Six bathrooms. ERMAGERD.)

As we embrace 2015, I thank you for being a part of my world and wish good health and happiness for each of you. And, if you aren’t already so fortunate, ย maybe even a bathroom of your own. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sarah Ballance is a multi-published author of contemporary, historical, and supernatural romance and romantic suspense. Sheโ€™s been married to her own romantic hero for what he calls a โ€œlong, long timeโ€ (and no, heโ€™ll never hear the end of saying that). Together they have six children โ€ฆ and clearly too much time on their hands. She currently writes for Entangled Publishing.

Woohoo Sarah! 2015 will be amazing for you no doubt. And finally having a bathroom of your own will be the cherry on top. You can do so many without having someone knocking on the door to use the bathroom. LOL Congrats and have a great road trip this year. May many great stories come to you to share with us.

Thank you! I sure hope so. I’m a worrier so naturally I’m wondering what will go wrong, LOL, but I’m also a planner so there are contingencies in place. I have a Plan B for my Plan B, LOL! But yeah, totally looking forward to my own bathroom. I’ll have to share it with the husband, of course, but considering it’ll be bigger than the bedroom we currently share, I think we’ll figure out how to make it work. I’m definitely looking forward to traveling and seeing my books release. Thank you so much for always being a part of it. It’s amazing to share this experience with so many wonderful people! <3

Yes! It really is the little things, I swear. Although after 12 years in this house, it’s not so little anymore. (The house is. The bathroom thing is not. *grin*) Happy 2015 to you!

Holy. Moly. Eight people, one bathroom? You must have the patience of Job! Congrats on the new house, and all of your releases! Enjoy that road trip, too!!

LOL. I wish I could say I do, but mostly they scatter if someone knocks and it’s me who says “WHAT?” ๐Ÿ˜‰ Muahahahah! It’s great to have you in the group, Alyssa. Have a fantastic 2015!

Congrats on the books and the bathrooms. You’ll need a cleaning lady or well-trained kids to keep them all clean. ๐Ÿ˜‰

LOL! No doubt, but I will seriously lock the doors if they don’t keep them clean. (Four are en suite). They’ll learn. ๐Ÿ™‚ And if not, they’ll sit there clean, LOL. Happy 2015, Barbara!
